How much does a mortgage broker in the yield spread premium from a FHA mortgage loan?
The agent I spoke with today quoting 7.125% rate seems quite high. It is also charge a fee of 1%. Am I getting ripped off here?
I am not a mortgage broker, but a real estate agent and not trying to sell you a loan! In my opinion, this offer is a monster rip off (mainly due to the fee), but the easiest way to be 100% sure is to buy your own pace when talking to other local mortgage brokers. Get your credit score half your mortgage broker Current and tell what is new you will not have to rerun your credit. Be sure to request a good faith estimate based on the same conditions get an apples to apples comparison.
