Does anyone know what the average age is for someone to buy your first home?
I have 20 and my boyfriend is 24 and living in an apartment and will for at least another year. I wondered what the average age is that people make a down payment and get your first mortgage on a house? We will not have children so no have to expense, just wanted to know what to expect. Be different salaries and around the world vary, but what is a good goal to shoot for?
if you want a house, start saving and plan to buy in 5 years when you have saved 10-20% of the purchase price. personally, I recommend you travel age and worrying about a house much later. have the rest of his life to "settle down"
