I need to get away from Countrywide Home Loans. Does anyone know a good reputation Home Loan Co. in Austin, Texas?
I am very nervous about having my loan Countrywide home. I do not want me back and said that the amendment that gave me no longer valid. I have an ARM and am looking to refinance. Countrywide me denied for a refinance because he had two against late payment in two years. Please help. I really want to find a company with a better record and reputation.
Wow, the sharks have come to answer this one. I worked for 10 + years in mortgage banking, and it still amazes me the crap that some people say to try to get someone's business. One of the responses above 4 %…… what a joke. If they have already made a loan modification that you're probably in the best situation may be now. I know it's not fun to deal with Countrywide, but his mod loan is a contract and have to adhere to that contract. The only Countrywide legal reason could change the agreement would be if you stopped paying. Because of their late payments on your mortgage, refinance is not really an option available to you. Unless you can document the specific reasons why you were late and the reasons were beyond their control, then maybe. However, your credit score is probably lower due to the delay in payments. Even if you could refinance, there is a good chance you back with Countrywide anyway. The service of most loans these days are sold and Countrywide is the largest buyer of contracts for the provision of services.
